Narrative Outline

All these titles are tentative, and they will be about 20-30 seconds.

Scene 1, ‘The Brainpower’

This first scene will involve the subject solving a rubics cube. The scene will be shot in my front yard, during the day, with natural lighting. There will be an empty chair in the middle of the shot, and the subject will enter, sit down, pull a blindfold over his head, solve the rubics cube, remove the blindfold, and exit the scene (all backwards, which will then be reversed so it appears to be forwards). In the background, a car will drive by (backwards, and reversed so it appears forwards).

Scene 2, ‘The Superpowers’

This scene will involve the subject realizing his new superpowers. He will be filmed walking in reverse, jumping off things backwards, and doing other strange things (catching a knife, catching balls in his mouth, falling over).

Scene 3, ‘The Backwards World’

This scene will involve the subject walking through crowded public places backwards. This will create the effect of the world around the subject being turned backwards. Places include a shopping mall, the side of the road, and just through a normal house.
The subject will basically walk through the world, looking up and down and side to side, as if examining this new world.

Scene 4, ‘Random Clips’

This scene will include a spackling of random clips that don’t quite fit into any of the other scenes, but are still interesting and useful. The clips will be in no particular order. These clips include pouring water/liquid, spinning coins, balls bouncing, cans crushing, and others.
